Welcome to Tonalic!

As a Waveform Pro user, you know a good tool when you hear one, and you have one of ours already: Melodyne essential is in your box. Tonalic joins it. And where Melodyne edits what you recorded, Tonalic brings a real performance in.

Tonalic is a new way to produce music, built on real musicians and the Tonalic engine, Celemony's technology for reshaping real performances to your song. World-class players from around the globe recorded these performances, and Tonalic adapts them to your song's chords, tempo and groove.
Build expressive arrangements, try variations, and shape your music while the song is still moving. Fast, intuitive and always musical.

What’s Included in Tonalic essential

With Tonalic essential you get a curated collection of acoustic and electric guitars, performed and produced by Uwe Bossert, guitarist of the successful pop-rock band Reamonn ("Supergirl"), made for songwriting, quick arrangements and rich, organic textures. It includes the full Tonalic engine with chord, tempo and groove adaptation. Your licence is perpetual and can be upgraded to the larger edition at any time.

Real Performances – Adapted to Your Song

Real musicians playing real instruments, shaped to your chords, tempo and groove. It feels like a session player responding to your track, full of nuance, intention and life. In a real session, the take is finished the moment it is played. Tonalic reshapes the same performance instead, so your arrangement stays open right up to the last minute.

Integrated through ARA

Tonalic sits in Waveform's right-hand panel, alongside the tools you already work with, and previews against your song as it plays. When you're ready, drop a Tonalic onto your timeline, where you place, extend and arrange it like the audio and MIDI clips you already know. Waveform 14 passes your chord track straight through to Tonalic, so the harmony, tempo and feel lock in on their own and you stay in the flow.

Included – Expand When Ready

Tonalic essential comes with Waveform Pro and already gives you signature guitar performances by Uwe Bossert for your Pop and Rock tracks. Preview Tonalics from the larger edition and upgrade whenever you want more musicians and more instruments.
