Studio One Pro and Fender Studio Pro come with Tonalic essential: a curated collection of acoustic and electric guitars, performed and produced by Uwe Bossert, guitarist of the pop-rock band Reamonn. Studio-grade and made for professional productions, from the first idea to the final mix, and just as much at home in songwriting and quick arrangements. It includes the full Tonalic Engine with chord, tempo and groove adaptation. Your license is perpetual and can be upgraded to the larger edition at any time.

Open Studio One or Fender Studio Pro and find Tonalic in the Browser under Home or Tonalic. Log in with your Tonalic account, and you're ready to go.

Preview Tonalics in your Song

Browse acoustic and electric guitar performances, called Tonalics, and preview them in place. Filter by genre, playing technique or instrument to find what your song needs. Tonalics adapt to your chords, key and tempo while the song plays, so you hear musical ideas exactly where they belong.

Arrange directly in the Timeline

Drag a Tonalic into your song and treat it like a clip: extend it, move it, or add transitions and endings from the Set page. It may look like looping, but it isn't: Tonalic reshapes the performance to your chords, bar by bar.

FAQ

Is Tonalic AI?

No. Tonalic works from real studio recordings and reshapes them using Celemony's DNA technology. No audio is synthesised. Everything you hear comes from a recording made by the musician credited, reshaped to fit your song. It is not MIDI either: the performances are audio.

What do I get with Tonalic essential, and what is not included?

Tonalic essential is a full edition, not a demo or a trial. You get the complete Tonalic Engine and a curated collection of acoustic and electric guitars by Uwe Bossert. Bass, drums, percussion and the other musicians live in Tonalic arranger, and note-level editing with the Refine page and the sound controls live in Tonalic studio. Everything you build with essential carries over when you upgrade.

Does it follow my chords?

Yes. In Studio One Pro and Fender Studio Pro, Tonalic reads the chord track directly, so whatever you set there is what the performance plays. Change the chords three weeks later and the same performance follows.

Is Tonalic essential really free, or does it expire?

Tonalic essential is included with Studio One Pro and Fender Studio Pro at no extra cost, and the licence is perpetual: it does not expire, and there is no subscription attached to it. You enter the serial number from your Studio One or Fender Studio Pro page and create a free Tonalic account to activate it. The larger editions, Tonalic arranger and Tonalic studio, are available as a monthly or annual subscription, or as prepaid licences through music dealers, whenever you want more musicians and instruments.

Do I need to be online?

An internet connection is needed to search for and download Tonalics and to verify your licence. Once the content is on your disk you can work offline, and the engine does all the reshaping locally, on your own machine.
